Our Vision
Our vision at LCS is to provide a wonderful first school experience for children at they prepare for elementary school. We want LCS to be recognized as one of the best Christian based Kindergarten, Jr. Kindergarten, Pre-Kindergarten, Pre-School and Mother’s Day Out Programs available.
Our Profile
LCS has been serving the families of Lewisville, Flower Mound and surrounding areas for over 40 years. We are a ministry of the Garden Ridge Church of Christ and we are dedicated to the mission of Reaching Out, Sharing Jesus and Changing Lives at our school.
Our Teachers
Our teachers are all Christians with a love of teaching young children. All are academically qualified and experienced through years of teaching. LCS believes in teaching the whole child. This includes instilling the basic Christian principles he/she needs to grow mentally, physically, spiritually and socially.
Our Classes
Class enrollment is limited. We feel that children benefit from a lower student to teacher ratio. Smaller class size allows for more individual attention.

Our History
Lewisville Christian School was founded in 1970 by Christians concerned about the lack of quality education in a Christian environment in this community. LCS started as a Kindergarten with 30 students and two teachers and has grown to it’s present size of over 200 children and a staff of over 25.
